"This lawsuit is clearly an attempt by the same taxi industry that has failed consumers, drivers, and the city of San Antonio for decades.  If anyone should be filing lawsuits, it's San Antonio consumers and the strong local leaders who stand with them – to stand up against the special interest taxi lobby that is trying to block technology and innovation, and ultimately, expanded consumer options.

Uber's ridesharing service – uberX – has been embraced by Texans to overwhelming demand from both riders and drivers.
