1 dead, 3 injured in two-vehicle accident

Police investigating if alcohol was involved

Alcohol may be to blame for a crash on the city's West Side that sent four people to the hospital.

One person is dead and three others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on the West Side.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday near 36th Street and Old Highway 90.

According to police, a Hummer and truck collided at the intersection. The Hummer rolled over three times, ejecting one person.

There was a total of three people in the Hummer and one person in the truck.

All four people were taken to University Hospital in critical condition. One person has since died.

Police are investigating whether the drivers had been drinking.
