KFC unveils 'Chicken Corsage'

Fast-food chain's creation hits the web in time for prom season

In a bizarre bit of viral marketing, fast-food chain KFC has created what it's calling the "Chicken Corsage" - just in time for prom season.

The wrist corsage features baby's breath and a chicken drumstick, and is designed to "make your date's eyes light up and her mouth water."

The baby's breath corsage is made by Nanz & Kraft Florists in Louisville, Ky. According to their website, the corsage includes a $5 KFC gift certificate so buyers can "customize your corsage with Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Kentucky Grilled Chicken. Whichever best matches her dress."

The corsage costs $20, but only 100 "limited-edition" Chicken Corsages will be made. As the florist says, "Just like the last piece of chicken in the bucket, when they're gone, they're gone."
