Search continues for son accused of stabbing father

Cruz Munoz, Jr., suffered critical injuries

Cruz Munoz Jr. remains in critical but stable condition after allegedly being stabbed by his son at his South Side home.

San Antonio police said they found Munoz on the ground in front of his home in the 1200 block of Division Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

They said he was suffering from multiple stab wounds to his back and bruises to his head.

Witnesses told police Munoz and his son had been arguing shortly before the son stabbed him with an unknown object.

When officers arrived at the scene, the son had already left.

Police searched the neighborhood but did not find him right away.
