Animal Care Services corrals donkey at Ingram Park Mall

ACS looking for owner of Jimmychanga

Donkeys are not known for their shopping habits but one may wonder what one burro was doing Tuesday near a store at Ingram Park Mall.

Animal Care Services got a call for the mysterious snow-white jack male donkey after mall security spotted the pack animal in the parking lot at 6301 NW Loop 410.

Morning commuters also reported seeing the burro near the intersection of Wurzbach and Ingram roads.

ACS officers initially tethered the donkey, but it gave them the slip and the officers had to run after it. Following a brief chase, the officers corralled the burro, nicknamed Jimmychanga by ACS staff.

Anyone with information about the donkey's owner is urged to call 311.
