A driver was hospitalized after crashing through a brick wall and a fence, then landing in a pool on the city's northwest side.
Police say around 7 p.m. Wednesday, the driver, in her 60s, went over a median on Vance Jackson, drove across another property and landed in the pool at a home in the 13400 block of Barsan Road.
The driver was rescued from the car and taken to University Hospital with minor injuries. She told SAPD officers she had taken a lot of medication.
No other injuries were reported and charges against the driver were unknown.
