San Antonio PD: Man rapes woman, bragged about previous sex assaults
Marcus Cooper, 32, charged with aggravated sexual assault
A 32-year-old man is accused of pointing a knife at a woman and forcing her to have sex with him, a crime the alleged victim said he claimed to have committed before.
Marcus Cooper was arrested Wednesday on a charge of aggravated sexual assault in connection with the March 30 incident.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that San Antonio police responded to a call about a rape in progress and spoke to a 20-year-old woman.
She told officers that she had agreed to have sex with a man for money, then got into his car to go to a different, more private location, the affidavit stated.
Once they arrived, she said the man pulled out a knife, ordered her to take off her clothes and threw them out of the window, then forced her to have sex, the affidavit stated.
Police said DNA evidence which they collected appeared to be a match for a sample that they in a criminal database for Cooper.
The affidavit stated that the woman also told police Cooper bragged that he had "done this before with other women," and that he had threatened to kill them if they reported it.
Online records do not show any prior sexual assault arrests for Cooper.
