Suspect sought in shooting in northeast Bexar County

Two people were wounded in a shooting outside a Sonic restaurant on the Northeast Side.

Bexar County sheriff's deputies responded to the shooting late Thursday night in the Sonic parking lot on FM 78 near Foster Road.

Deputies said more than four people were sitting in a red car when a person opened fire on the vehicle.

Deputies said two people were shot and one of the victims ran to a nearby H-E-B for help.

Both victims were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition, deputies said.

Authorities found eleven shell casings in the parking lot and said the shooter remained at large as of 8 a.m. Friday.
