San Antonio police say a man fell to his death off a downtown hotel balcony early Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel in the 200 block of South Alamo Street.
Investigators believe the 46-year-old victim got into an argument with his wife in a suite on the 18th floor of the hotel and stepped onto balcony while his wife remained inside the room.
The wife told police she stepped outside and discovered her husband had somehow fallen off the balcony.
SAPD officials said the man's death remains under investigation. His name has not been released.
