The badly decomposed body of a man was found in Floresville Friday afternoon, the Wilson County News reports.
A city worker mowing the grass in a drainage ditch off U.S. 181 found the body, the newspaper reports.
As of Friday afternoon, the body had not been identified.
A Wilson County justice of the peace and a Texas Ranger were en route to assist with the investigation, the newspaper reports.
