A woman has been hospitalized after she was hit by a SUV while crossing the street.
The accident happened just before 7 a.m. Sunday on Old Highway 90 near South San Gabriel and South San Horacio.
Police say the woman was not crossing the street at a cross walk.
The driver did stop after the accident and is not expected to face charges.
Part of Old Highway 90 was closed while police investigated.
