Man killed in SUV rollover identified

Victim identified as Anthony Aragon, 27; killed in crash near Fulton Avenue

A man who died after he was ejected from an SUV during a rollover crash early Sunday morning has been identified.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 27-year-old Anthony Aragon.

Police said the SUV was headed westbound on Interstate 10 near Fulton Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when the driver lost control and struck a curb, causing the SUV to flip.

Aragon was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a woman believed to be Aragon's girlfriend was taken to University Hospital for treatment, but her condition was not released.

SAPD investigators have not said if Aragon was driving or what other factors led to the fatal crash.
