Methodist Hospital no longer under lockdown
Report of man with rifle leads to brief lockdown
A "Code: All Stop" that was given just after 3 p.m. on Friday at Methodist Hosptial in the Medical Center has been lifted.
A hospital spokeswoman said that code is usually given when there is a "suspicion of a person in the building with a weapon."
A San Antonio police spokesperson said there were reports that a man with a rifle was seen outside of the building but after a search of the hallways and grounds, the hospital was cleared by 3:30 p.m. and the lockdown lifted.
