San Antonio police are investigating a pair of robberies on the West Side that may be related.

The first robbery happened about 10:40 p.m. at the Jack in the Box in the 1200 block of Old Highway 90.

Police said a man went through the drive thru, ordered something and then pulled out a shotgun and fired it through the window.

Police said no one was hit and the robber fled in a 2000 Chevy Impala. Police did not say what was taken from the restaurant.

A second robbery occurred just eight minutes later at a nearby Shell gas station in the 2000 block of Northwest Loop 410.

Police said a man walked into the gas station with a shotgun and his face covered.

SAPD officials said he placed the shotgun on the counter and demanded money. The man stole some cash, lottery tickets and other merchandise, police said.

Police have a description of the man and believe he is responsible for both robberies.
