Alfredo Esquivel, 57, accused of stabbing brother

SAPD: Argument between brothers' girlfriend, wife sparked incident

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a man accused of stabbing his brother over the weekend.

According to an arrest affidavit, Alfredo Esquivel, 57, stabbed his 59-year-old brother, Henry Esquivel, in the leg several times.

The stabbing occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North San Horacio.

Police said the incident began when the brothers' girlfriend and wife got into an argument earlier in the day.

Alfredo Esquivel went to his brother's house to figure out what happened, and the two got into an argument that ended with the stabbing.

Esquivel fled the scene and his brother was transported to the hospital.

Police located Esquivel and charged him with aggravated assault. Esquivel's bond was set at $75,000.
