2 men wanted in Dollar General robbery

Surveillance video shows robbers injuring cashier, stealing merchandise

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public's help to locate two men who investigators said were involved in a Dollar General robbery that happened in early June on the city's South Side.

The robbery was reported on June 1 in the 5800 block of Old Pearsall Road.

Video obtained from the store's surveillance camera shows the two men gathering several items, presenting the merchandise to the cashier then refusing to pay.

As the cashier removed the bag and put the items behind the counter, one of the men is seen injuring the cashier and stealing the merchandise.

Both men fled the store by foot and ran in a ditch behind the store.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of both suspects.
