Bergdahl moves to outpatient care in SA

Recently released Army sergeant progressing nicely

SAN ANTONIO – The United States Army announced Sunday that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is now being treated in outpatient care at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Bergdahl was released from Taliban captivity in May.

The Army said his reintegration process has progressed to involve more people and a gradual increase of social interactions.

They said the goal is to help Bergdahl progress to the point where he can return to duty.

For his safety, the Army is not saying exactly where he is staying.
