Twin brothers charged in trailer park beating
Juan Alonzo, Jesse Alonzo facing aggravated assault charge
SAN ANTONIO – Twin brothers are accused of beating up another man, who they allegedly called a snitch, in retaliation for his reporting of a crime.
Juan Alonzo and Jesse Alonzo, both 50, are named as suspects in the June 18 attack in an arrest warrant affidavit.
Juan Alonzo was arrested Friday on a charge of aggravated assault.
However, as of Monday morning, it appeared Jesse Alonzo had not been taken into custody yet.
The affidavit stated that a 51-year-old man who does odd jobs at a trailer park told the manager that he saw the brothers dumping mattresses on the property.
The manager then confronted them, causing the twins to get angry, the affidavit stated.
The man told police both brothers beat him, and that Jesse Alonzo also pulled out a knife and tried to stab him, the affidavit stated.
However, the victim said he was able to prevent the stabbing by grabbing a pipe from his truck, the affidavit stated.
The victim told investigators that the attack stopped when a woman in the trailer park yelled at the men that she had called police. The affidavit stated that the victim suffered cuts and bruises.
He told police he was able to identify his attackers because the brothers often came to the trailer park to visit their father, who lives there, the affidavit stated.
