Man arrested in bank robbery

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a man they say robbed a far West Side bank.
 
The bank robbery happened at the Broadway Bank near Loop 1604 and Potranco Road around 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

The man initially got away with some cash, but not for long. He was captured just a short distance away at Waters Edge near Loop 410.

Police were able to catch up with the man -- whose name has not been released -- in his black pickup truck.

He is facing robbery charges.
