SAPD: West Side man shot in rear

Man refused medical treatment, did not want to answer police questions

SAN ANTONIO – A man who was shot in the rear end Sunday night on the city's west side leaves San Antonio police investigators with unanswered questions.

The shooting was reported after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday in the 900 block of Laza Street.

Investigators found shell casings near a truck at the scene.

The victim was limping nearby, but refused treatment and did not want to talk to the officers.

The shooting is still under investigation.
