Driver stabbed in conflict with pedestrian

Victim critically wounded on Colt Drive

SAN ANTONIO – A driver told San Antonio police he was stabbed during a confrontation on the West Side with a pedestrian who accused him of trying to run him down with his car.

Police found the critically wounded driver in the 2600 block of Colt Drive around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

They said he told them he drove to that location after the stabbing, which happened on another section of the same street.

He told police he was at an intersection when two men approached him and accused him of trying to run over them with his car.

The driver told police he then got out of his vehicle to confront them, and one of the men stabbed him.

Police searched the area, using their Eagle helicopter, but did not locate the two pedestrians.
