Stone Oak area advised to discontinue outdoor water usage

SAWS continues work Wednesday morning on major water main break

SAN ANTONIO – Due to a mechanical malfunction to the primary water pipeline from the former BexarMet infrastructure that serves the Stone Oak area, residents are being advised to discontinue their outdoor water usage, including irrigation systems at residential, businesses and public area systems and medians, as crews make emergency repairs.

While all of Stone Oak is being asked to discontinue the water usage until further notice, specific areas being affected are The Vineyard, Sonterra, and Greystone.

SAWS said intensive work is being done to correct the problem and that they are continuing to monitor the repairs closely.
