SAN ANTONIO – A woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a driver who had just dropped her off on the access road, San Antonio police said.
SAPD investigators said the woman was let out of a car on the westbound Loop 410 access road near Babcock Road just before 5 a.m. Monday.
She made her way to other side of the highway and the driver looped around and struck her, police said. She was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.
Police took the driver in for questioning but have not determined whether he did it intentionally or if he will face charges.
A San Antonio police sergeant said there had been a disturbance earlier involving the woman and man. No further details have been made available.
