Forbes has just released its 7th annual Top Colleges list and several area and Texas universities have been recognized.
A total of 700 colleges from across the country were ranked by Forbes. Below are the three San Antonio area colleges that were listed.
- No. 132 - Trinity University (4th ranked college in Texas)
- No. 390 - St. Mary's University
- No. 641 - University of Texas at San Antonio
Here are some other notable state and area schools that made the list.
- No. 32 - Rice University (Top ranked Texas school)
- No. 76 - UT-Austin
- No. 137 - Texas A&M
- No. 195 - Baylor
- No. 197 - Southwestern University in Georgetown
- No. 473 - St. Edward's University in Austin
- No. 615 - Texas State in San Marcos
Williams College in Massachusetts came in at No. 1 on the list.
