Karate school owner faces third child sex assault charge
Richard Griffin, 60, charged in Comal County case
HAYS COUNTY, Texas – The owner of a Wimberley karate school has been charged with a third count of sexual assault of a child, the Hays County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
Richard Griffin, 60, was charged by the Comal County Sheriff's Office on Aug. 2, two days after the Hays County Sheriff's Office charged him with two counts.
Griffin, the owner of Kim-Soo Karate, posted bond Aug. 3 and is awaiting trial.
The victim in the case was a student of Griffin's for two years, Hays County Sheriff's Office officials said.
