Missing girls found safe in downtown SA

Girls reportedly left home to go to Rivercenter Mall

SAN ANTONIO – Three young girls who were reported missing late Thursday night were found safe after a nearly two hour search.

San Antonio police recieved a call around 11 p.m. from a mother who said her two daughters and a friend were missing from the house.

The girls reportedly wanted to go Rivercenter Mall, but weren't allowed to leave and took off anyways.

San Antonio police began to search the area and a VIA police officer spotted the trio just before 1 a.m. on a bus at St. Marys and Commerce.

He removed the girls from the bus and called SAPD. The girls were escorted home and reportedly not hurt.
