SAN ANTONIO – Some employees from San Antonio Water Systems will be reprimanded after an investigation determined human error was partly to blame for a water main break in Stone Oak back in July.
At the time, SAWS officials said a mechanical malfunction caused the break in the 48-inch water line on Bitters Road off of U.S. 281.
Some Stone Oak residents had to limit their outdoor watering because of the break.
A spokesman for SAWS didn't say what personnel action the employees are facing or even the number of employees involved.
