SAN ANTONIO – A two-story home in La Vernia was destroyed by a fast-moving fire early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters from eight area fire departments were dispatched around 2 a.m. to the home on Zuehl Crossing, and were eventually able to extinguish the flames.
The family who lives in the home did manage to escape and no injuries were reported.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the fire.
