Female suspect stole credit cards from elderly woman

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County sheriff's investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who stole an elderly woman's wallet then used the victim's credit cards to rack up more than $1,200 worth of illegal purchases.

Investigators said the wallet was stolen from the woman around 1 p.m. July 8 at the Hobby Lobby in the 23000 block of Highway 281 North at TPC Parkway.

The female suspect used the cards at three different locations, spending more than $120 at a Valero, filling up her truck with gasoline and purchasing drinks and cigarettes; more than $800 at an Academy Sports and Outdoors, buying gift cards, clothing and a marine battery, and more than $300 at a Target, buying gift cards and groceries.

The woman is wanted on charges related to credit card fraud/abuse, theft $50-$500 elderly.
