SAPD: 2 men sought in connection with shooting

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a shooting on the East Side in which 28 rounds were fired into a house, leaving a man shot in the forehead.

Police investigators said two men fired the rounds into the home, located in the 600 block of Corliss, around 10 a.m. on Friday.

An 18-year-old man inside the home was struck in the forehead. He was rushed to a nearby hospital. His condition was not known as of 11:30 a.m.

Investigators said they are looking for two men in their early to mid 20s in connection with the shooting.

"It appears to be a dispute over money or drugs between people who knew each other or are possibly related to each other," said San Antonio police Chief William McManus.

He said the two suspects took off on foot.

No one else was home at the time of the shooting.

Two nearby schools were put on lockdown temporarily, but by 11 a.m., the lockdowns had been lifted.
