Man falls from car during fight with girlfriend

SAPD: Man jumped on girlfriend's car during argument

SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized early Friday morning after San Antonio police said he jumped on his girlfriend's car and fell to the ground as she was driving away.

SAPD investigators said the couple got into a fight at the man's home in the 5300 block of El Medano Street near O'Connor and Nacogdoches roads on the Northeast Side.

According to police, the girlfriend broke a window at the man's house sometime on Thursday, then returned Friday around 3 a.m.

The couple continued to argue and when the woman tried to drive away, the man jumped on top of her car.

Police said the girlfiend did not stop and the man fell to the ground, and hit his head on the pavement.

He suffered a head injury and road rash, and was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said they were investigating the incident and it was unclear if any charges would be filed.
