SAPD officials said a man with a gun believed to be in his 20s walked into the store and demanded cash and lottery tickets from the clerk, but got away with nothing.

The clerk gave police a description of the suspect and said he fled in white Jeep Liberty.

About 20 minutes later, a separate robbery was reported at the Lovers Adult Accessories store in the 4800 block of Northwest Loop 410.

An employee there told police a man walked into the store with a gun and threatened the clerk.

The suspect was unable to get any cash because the clerk could not open the register, but still fled in a white Jeep with an estimated $300 in merchandise, SAPD officials said.

About half an hour later, police received yet another report of a robbery around 10:40 p.m. at a Subway restaurant in the 1400 block of Austin Highway.

A man matching the same description as the suspect in the second robbery went into the restaurant and stole an unknown amount of money, police said.

A witness saw the suspect run to the nearby parking lot and get into a waiting white Jeep Liberty.

Police said the robberies are an ongoing investigation and no arrests had been announced as of 7 a.m. Tuesday.
