Fire station sale approved by City Council

SAN ANTONIO – A former fire station might be the city's latest restaurant.

City Council approved a deal to sell the old fire station No. 7 to Andrew Goodman.

Goodman owns feast restaurant which is just down the street from Southtown.

He purchased the land at 604 South Alamo for just over $850,000.

The city will make a matching funds donation not to exceed $150,000 to the Fire Museum Society.
