SA man gets 20 years for distribution of child porn

Robert Holguin, 42, sentenced for sharing hundreds of videos, images

SAN ANTONIO – Robert Holguin, 42, was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release for distribution of child pornography, announced U.S. Attorney Robert Pitman and FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Combs in a statement.

On Nov. 30, 2012, federal authorities executed a search warrant at Holguin's house.

A forensics examination of computer-related equipment revealed the presence of more than 2,400 images and approximately 500 videos depicting child pornography, some of which Holguin shared with others, including an undercover officer via the Internet.

On June 5, 2013, Holguin pleaded guilty to the distribution charge.
