Suspect arrested in string of Lowe's robberies

Victor Castillo, 29, arrested by Schertz police

SAN ANTONIO – A man believed to be responsible for a rash of thefts at several San Antonio-area Lowe's stores is facing charges after being arrested.

San Antonio police say 29-year-old Victor Castillo entered the Lowe's in the 3300 block of Goliad Road in May and took two power tool sets.

Castillo was identified from store surveillance video as the same suspect who had stolen items from the Lowe's stores in Schertz, San Marcos and New Braunfels.

He was arrested by the Schertz Police Department and was identified by an employee from the Goliad Road location from a photo line-up.
