SAN ANTONIO – Get your umbrellas out because wet weather and cooler temperatures are predicted this weekend for the San Antonio area.
Heavy showers made their way through the San Antonio area Friday afternoon and into the evening.
A cold front also made its way through the area, dropping temperatures along the way.
San Antonio reached a high of 98 degress Friday and according to KSAT Meteorologist Steve Browne, it is unlikely the temperature will get much higher than 80 degress Saturday.
The NWS says Saturday's chances for rain are 50 percent.
There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday night with a low around 70.
Sunday chances for rain remain at around 20 percent throughout the day with a high near 88. Sunday's low is predicted to be around 74, according to the NWS.
