Man injured in hit-and-run

Victim transported to Downtown Baptist Hospital with minor injuries

SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 50s is recovering after being found in the street, and he says a hit-and-run driver is to blame.

Police say passers-by found the man lying in the road at the intersection of Roosevelt and E. Southcross around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

He told officers a pickup driver hit him, and then took off.

EMS transported the victim to Downtown Baptist Hospital for treatment.

Police say they're now investigating and trying to find that hit-and-run driver.
