Brita recalls children water bottles
SAN ANTONIO – It may be too hot to think about a space heater, but if you bought a Vornado in the past 14 months, it may be recalled.
Vornado Air recalled 79,000 VH110 Whole Room Vortex electric space heaters because they are fire and burn hazards.
This move comes after seven reports of heaters catching fire and 22 reports of overheating and melting.
They were sold at several retailers including Home Depot, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Customers should contact Vornado www.vornado.com or (844)205-7978 for instructions on getting a free replacement.
Bexco has recalled its Franklin & Ben Mason 4-in-1 Convertible Cribs.
The front can separate from the side panels and create a gap where the baby can get trapped.
The recalled model number 5601 was manufactured from January 2012 thorugh August 2012. The crib has a storage drawer at the base.
Parents are urged to stop using the crib and get a free repair kit from the company which can be contacted at www.franklinandben.com or (888)673-6652.
Brita recalled nearly a quarter million filtered water bottles for children.
The lids can crack into pieces and lips can get cut.
The hard-sided bottles have cartoon characters on them: Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob Squarepants, Hello Kitty and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The $13 bottles were sold since June 2013.

Hobby Lobby is recalling approximately 126,000 small candles sold this summer because they are a fire hazard.
The recall involves 4-ounce fragrance candles sold in a round metal tin with a metal lid. The DD logo is on the lid.
Consumers can return them to Hobby Lobby.
The candles were made by CoScentrix of California.
