Man sought in bank robbery

BBVA Compass Bank robbed on Friday, Sept. 12

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they said robbed a Medical Center-area bank.

Investigators said the man robbed the BBVA Compass Bank in the 7500 block of Wurzbach Road around 2 p.m. on Sept. 12.

The man handed a note to the teller, investigators said, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

Investigators said the man fled the bank with an unspecified amount of money.
