SAN ANTONIO – We had a few areas of heavy rainfall Wednesday night and a repeat is possible again tonight.
Not much rain fell during the day today across South Texas, but that could change while we sleep.
Our atmosphere is rich with moisture and that, combined with some upper-level energy, could lead to localized downpours tonight.
Flash-flooding is a concern as 3-5 inches of rain is possible within some of the heaviest downpours.
Not everyone will get rain, but where it rains, it should come down hard due to the tropical nature of our atmosphere.
Some showers may linger toward sunrise with a few more possible over the next few afternoons.
