At least one person was injured Wednesday afternoon on the city's near North Side.
Police investigators said a man was walking down Aganier when someone in a red Dodge Avenger pulled up near him and began firing at him.
He was hit once in the elbow.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition.
Police say the shooting occurred on the sidewalk outside Cotton Elementary School.
