SAN ANTONIO – Two nightly traffic closures along Interstate 35 and Interstate 10 may cause headaches for drivers this week.
The first closure is on I-35 between Schwab Road and FM 2252, where all southbound lanes will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m through Friday.
The closure falls on the stretch of I-35 between New Braunfels and Schertz. Traffic will be forced to exit Schwab Road and can reenter the highway after FM 2252.
The second closure is on I-10 at UTSA Boulevard.
Both the east and westbound main lanes will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Wednesday.
Drivers can expect congestion on the access roads on both sides of the highway while construction crews work.
