Couple arrested for kidnapping 3 boys

Christopher Jasso, Judith Reyes charged with aggravated kidnapping

SAN ANTONIO – A couple was arrested for taking three boys under the age of eight from a foster home in Guadalupe County.

An official with the sheriff's office said Christopher Jasso, 26, and Judith Reyes, 28, went to the home in the 13000 block of FM 775 around midnight Thursday. They reportedly were there to drop off snacks and toys for the children.

Jasso allegedly took the three boys. He was reportedly armed with a gun.

A sheriff's deputy spotted Jasso's car near Interstate 10 and Trainer Hale Road. There was a brief chase that ended around I-10 and Loop 1604.

The three children were not hurt. They were returned to their foster family.

Jasso and Reyes are each charged with three counts of aggravated kidnapping. Bond for each has been set at $300,000.
