2 men arrested after burglarizing cars at Lowe's, Home Depot

Robbery Task Force observes thieves in action


SAN ANTONIO – Two men are in custody Friday after police say they burglarized cars at a San Antonio Lowe's and Home Depot.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department's Robbery Task Force observed the men breaking into and stealing items from a vehicle at a Home Depot.

Police then attempted to pull the men over at South Park Mall, but the driver rammed a patrol car and sped off.

After a short chase, the driver was arrested. The second suspect fled on foot, but was also caught.

Both men are charged with aggravated robbery, criminal mischief for hitting the patrol car, burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest.

The men have not yet been identified.
