SAN ANTONIO – A man charged with harassing a woman by telephone has now been arrested again -- and charged with stalking.
Matthew Blanco, 19, was arrested last week after police said he left menacing voicemails for the mother of his 9-month-old baby, 20-year-old Karen Conchas.
Blanco told KSAT he and Conchas have always had a volatile relationship, but it got worse after their daughter was born.
Conchas has been arrested for assaulting Blanco in the past.
Blanco's most recent charges -- stalking and burglary with intent to commit assault -- stem from an incident where police investigators said he had a screwdriver and a crowbar and tried to break into Conchas' house.
Conchas said Blanco had been calling her all day, even though a judge had ordered him not to.
Blanco was taken into custody just before 4 a.m. on Thursday.
