Man wounded in SE Side shooting

Victim transported to SAMMC in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized late Thursday night following a shooting on the Southeast Side.

Shots were reported just before 11 p.m. in the 2200 block of Dollarhide Drive near Pecan Valley.

The victim said he was at a nearby convenience store and shot in the leg.

Police located him at the Riviera Apartments and he was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

The victim told police he did not know who opened fire in his direction, but saw four men flee the scene.
