SAN ANTONIO – A man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on the Southwest Side late Sunday night.
Officers found the man on the lying on the street just before 10 p.m. on Old Pearsall Road at Old Sky Harbor Drive near Millers Pond Park.
A witness told police the man was walking in the middle of the street when he was struck by a car.
According to a preliminary police report, the victim was walking northbound across Old Pearsall Road when he was hit by a dark colored Mazda that was traveling westbound.
The driver fled and had not been located as of 6 a.m. Monday. The victim's identity has not been released, but police believe he was in his late 50s.
