SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Friday for the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl.
A Bexar County jury sentenced Gilbert Zepeda, 45, to 30 years on four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, seven years on one count of sexual assault of a child, and seven years on each of 10 counts of indecency with a child by contact.

The sentences will be served concurrently after visiting retired Judge Pat Priest denied the state's request to stack the sentences.
Zepeda was found guilty on the 15 counts late Thursday.
Prosecutors said Zepeda abused the girl from 2004 to 2009, beginning when she was 10.
At 15, the girl told her mother -- and later police -- about what had happened.
