Candidates rally supporters in Alamo City

Early voting for Nov. 4 election ends Friday

SAN ANTONIO – Election Day is right around the corner and several candidates are asking voters to get to the polls before early voting ends on Friday.

Republican Sen. John Cornyn made an appearance in San Antonio Wednesday afternoon to rally voters. Cornyn met with supporters at the Alamo Café.

Cornyn is running against Democrat David Alameel, who has also visited and rallied voters in San Antonio.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott also visited supporters at the Alamo Cafe.

Abbott's opponent, Democrat Wendy Davis, spoke at a voting rally earlier this week on the East Side that drew an excited crowd.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. For more information on Election Day and voting locations, visit the Bexar County Elections website.
