Man in critical condition after downtown stabbing

Police searching for black man in his 20s


SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for the suspect in a stabbing that left one man in critical condition Thursday.

It happened around 3 p.m. at the Interstate 10, Interstate 35 overpass at West Houston and North Pecos-La Trinidad streets.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s. 

Police set up a quadrant around the area shortly after receiving some 911 calls.

Witnesses said the men were arguing when one of them stabbed the other.

The victim, also a black man in his 20s, stumbled across the parking lot under the highway before collapsing at the other end, losing a lot of blood.

He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
